Newsletter December 2010 |
What do you give to someone who already has everything?
The best thing is to give help to someone who has nothing.
Last year, we answered the question of what we want to give our children for Christmas: In 2009, the firm of QUANTEC took over three sponsorships for children whose villages and families are cared for by WORLD VISION (see below), and for 2010 we have now added three more. We are therefore sponsoring six children!
The year 2010 was a very successful one for QUANTEC.
Amongst other things, we received from ministries and universities in Russia and the Ukraine the Gold Medal for the best innovation in the field of health promotion. QUANTEC thereby aroused great interest, and was able to further consolidate its position as the world market leader.
It was also a good year for our customers:
We were able to provide with Version 6 the best QUANTEC software so far, and supplied this software free of charge to customers who purchase the previous version.
We wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!

QUANTEC: Dental prosthesis as an information carrier
Norbert Wichnalek from Augsburg has been a QUANTEC user for years. He is a dental technician, and over the years has specialised in compatible and most biological dental materials.
Norbert Wichnalek from Augsburg has been a QUANTEC user for years. He is a dental technician, and over the years has specialised in compatible and most biological dental materials.
He has thus become a contact point for allergy sufferers. Since starting to use QUANTEC to charge dental prostheses with information, his success rate has once again risen significantly.
What he does is to charge the material of the dental prosthesis for his patients with information, so that allergic reactions can be prevented, and healing is strongly promoted.
He has now been invited by the Gesellschaft für Ganzheitliche Zahnmedizin (GZM) (Society for Holistic Dental Medicine) to give a presentation on the subject of Dental prosthesis as an information carrier at their Annual Congress in Cologne.

Three more sponsorships for children in need
It was important to us that all six children come from different countries.
The three new children come from Mozambique, Armenia and Cambodia (see left).
With the documentation of each child, WORLD VISION provides information
on the family and the number of brothers and sisters, together with
information on the current situation in the country, and the community
in which the child lives. It was important to us that all six children come from different countries.

We hear a great deal about the misery and suffering in this world, but it takes on a completely new dimension when one sees by the example of six children from four continents the extent of the situation by means of their individual fate.
The contribution as a sponsor of WORLD VISION is not intended just for the child, but also goes to help the whole family for example through agricultural projects and the whole community for example through new wells to provide clean drinking water.
Before 2009, we gave our customers a gift every year. But what is a card index, a USB stick or a ballpoint pen compared to the possibility, with the same money, of improving the life of six children, their families and communities in the long term?
So.
We will report again in this newsletter on the further story of these children . . .
