| Due to their limited height in newly planted trees, the nests could be reached and removed with the use of a ladder. |

In the older trees, this was impossible, due to the height at which the caterpillars had placed their cocoons, so only QUANTEC could be used. In this picture you can see that there is hardly any leaf damage around the nests and that, in contrast to the neighboring trees, which were not radiated by QUANTEC, no new nests appeared.
